Reporting to the Assignment Office Supervisor, the post-holder will provide a comprehensive administrative service processing undergraduate and postgraduate assignment submissions. The duties require excellent administrative/organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to deal with large amounts of paperwork within tight timescales. This is a part-time post, working the equivalent of three days per week on a flexible basis, to be agreed. The nature of the role requires a customer-focused, flexible and adaptable administrator who is able to work with the minimum of supervision.
Applicants should have a first degree or equivalent qualification plus relevant professional experience in a customer-facing administration role. The role demands excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to deal sensitively in applying approved assessment regulations scrupulously and consistently. Effective organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure with a keen attention to detail are required. This role requires excellent IT skills, including the use of Excel and Word.
