**Job Summary**

AECOM is seeking a Environmental Project Manager to support both single and multi-discipline projects. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and demonstrated experience leading design on a variety of small-to-large sized environmental projects, coordinating an interdisciplinary design team and interacting with the client.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Overall project management in delivering environmental and civil engineering projects.

+ Defining project scope, developing project plans, developing project schedules and developing and tracking fee estimates and project baselines and budgets.

+ Tracking project progress of deliverables, milestones and other commitments to clients.

+ Building, organizing and motivating project teams and managing daily activities and resources.

+ Ensuring client satisfaction and overseeing quality review process for submittals.

+ Analyzing and managing project risk.

+ Efficiently work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

+ Develop project specific design criteria and verify that applicable codes and engineering standard practices are being met.

+ Ensure that quality project designs are completed on time and on budget through implementation of quality reviews.

+ Independently evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria and using judgement in making adaptations and modifications.

+ Develop reports, plans, specifications and cost estimates

**Minimum Requirements**

+ BSc Civil or Environmental Engineering degree

+ A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience and or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ BSc Environmental or Civil Engineering degree

+ 8 years of relevant experience

+ Familiarity with environmental site assessment, remediation and waste management projects.

+ Familiarity working in Canada’s northern territories.

+ Familiarity with Canadian federal government design projects (design, specifications and cost estimating).

+ Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

+ Registered with APEGA.

+ Experience either managing or designing large and complex multi-disciplinary civil and environmental projects.

+ Experience working with public and private sector clients.

+ Must possess a valid drivers license.
