HMP Lowdham Grange, Nottinghamshire



Full-Time/ Permanent



£18,360 plus benefits



 



Here at Serco we’re looking for a Residential Administrator to join us at HMP Lowdham Grange based in Nottinghamshire. Your main responsibility will be to provide administration to the Residential function of the business where you’ll be ensuring that the residential cell searching database is accurate at all times.



 



Our main aim is to ensure that all prisoner applications and requests are logged in a timely manner, ensure all systems are kept up to date for auditing purposes and all documents are filed when necessary. You will also update and maintain all requests for inter-prison phone calls, process prisoner wages daily, collect prisoner mail.



 



 



As part of this you’ll:




  • Liaise with Residential Management regarding the allocation of the personal Officer scheme.

  • Produce and collate all monthly wing recording books.

  • Minute taking for various Residential meetings including PIAC, Pre PIAC and Res Managers meetings.

  • To log all prisoner warnings on the CMS system

  • Provide administration support to the Custodial Operational Managers as and when required



 



What you’ll need to do the role



First and foremost, you’ll need to have worked in a similar role or experience or have prior experience within Administration. It would be advantageous if you’ve worked in a custodial setting and very desirable if you’ve dealt with rostering however full training will be given.



 



The successful applicant will be computer literate (Microsoft Office packages including Word, Access and Excel), someone that can demonstrate strong administration skills, and someone that has a keen eye for detail when dealing with data inputting. We are looking for someone that can communicate at all levels, build strong working relationships and be a successful part of an ever-growing team.
